The basecamp holds a vital role in our project as it enables us to effectively organize and expand our ecological implementation.
All the structures have been meticulously designed to be easily disassembled and reassembled in different locations, adapting to the evolving needs of our project. This flexibility empowers us to efficiently organize and scale our ecological initiatives while also supporting Silveira’s community and facilitating other educational events.
As our project evolves and progresses, this provisional place serves as a living testament to our commitment to regenerative practices and our dedication to creating a sustainable future.
During your time on the SilveiraTech Experience, you can stay with us at our Basecamp, a space designed to provide all the essential needs of daily life, including an industrial kitchen, showers, dry toilets, and equipment storage for our ecological work.
Right next to the Basecamp, we have our Camping Park where all the volunteers will be staying. Here are some key points about living in our community:
Shared Responsibilities: Volunteers share tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and organizing events. This helps ensure that everyone contributes to maintaining our living and working environment.
Communication: Open and respectful communication is essential. We encourage everyone to voice their thoughts and listen to others to foster a harmonious living environment.
Cultural Exchange: We value the unique culture, history, knowledge, and abilities each person brings. Sharing these with the Brave Hearts Community helps co-create a culture based on collaborative growth, diversity, empowerment, and an inspirational mindset.

Since sleeping in a tent is not feasible during the winter months, we’ve secured an apartment in the nearby town of Lousã, just a 15-minute drive from our land, specifically to host our volunteers.
This cozy, 3-bedroom apartment offers a comfortable stay with fully equipped amenities that ensure all your daily needs are met. Depending on the number of volunteers joining us, there might be a need to share rooms.
The house comes fully furnished with a fridge, a washing machine, hot showers, and comfortable beds to rest after a long day. For those without personal transport, our team will arrange transportation to and from our basecamp.
Conveniently located, the apartment provides easy access to essential services, all within a 10-15 minute walk. Supermarkets, pharmacies, a museum, theater, restaurants, and public transportation are all close by, ensuring that our volunteers have everything they need for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
